Will Writers London Ltd was established to provide a more accessible way to put your affairs in order without the cost, delay, or inconvenience of arranging an in-person appointment. We work entirely online, allowing you to complete your Will or Lasting Power of Attorney at a time and pace that suits you, from wherever you are.
Our Approach
Every document we prepare is drafted and reviewed personally by solicitors of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. We do not rely on generic templates completed without legal oversight, and no document leaves our practice without proper review by a qualified solicitor. We believe that the convenience of an online service should never come at the expense of the quality and rigour you would expect from a traditional legal practice.

Are We Regulated by the SRA?
No. Will Writers London Ltd is not authorised or regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority ("SRA"). Will-writing and the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney are not "reserved legal activities" under the Legal Services Act 2007, and no specific regulatory authorisation is legally required to provide these services.
Who Prepares Your Documents
Every Will and Lasting Power of Attorney we prepare is drafted and reviewed by solicitors of the Senior Courts of England and Wales.
Although Will Writers London Ltd itself is not SRA-regulated, the solicitors who prepare your documents remain, at all times, personally subject to the SRA Principles and the SRA Code of Conduct for Solicitors in everything they do for you.
What This Means for You
Because Will Writers London Ltd is not an SRA-regulated entity, certain protections that would ordinarily be available when instructing an SRA-regulated law firm do not apply to our services. Specifically:
- You do not have the right to refer a complaint about our work to the Legal Ombudsman.
- Our services are not covered by the SRA Compensation Fund.
We set this out clearly because we believe you should have this information before deciding whether to instruct us.
What We Have in Place Instead
Will Writers London Ltd maintains its own professional indemnity insurance in respect of the services we provide. We also operate our own internal complaints procedure, which is set out in full in our Complaints Policy, and which we take seriously as a means of resolving any concerns promptly and fairly.

If, having read this page, you would prefer your Will or Lasting Power of Attorney to be prepared by an SRA-regulated law firm instead, please contact us before any work begins. We will not charge for any work carried out prior to that point.
